Choosing a scale

How do I choose between capacity and readability?
Capacity is the maximum load you need; readability is the smallest increment the display resolves. Over-specifying readability costs money because finer load cells and tighter calibration are more expensive. A practical rule is to size capacity roughly 20–30% above your heaviest normal load, and to buy only the resolution your market actually verifies.
Which increment do I need for kitchen scales?
0.1 g covers baking, spices, coffee dosing and supplements, and is what most retail markets verify. Go finer to 0.01 g only where the application genuinely needs it — the same platform can usually be moved onto a finer load cell, so it is a specification decision rather than a new product.
Can the same model be built with a different unit set?
Yes. Unit sets (g / oz / lb / ct / ml) are configured during assembly, and the printed manual language can be changed with the run. This is one of the main reasons buyers consolidate with one supplier across markets.

OEM, ODM and branding

What is the difference between OEM and ODM here?
In OEM you bring the specification and we reproduce it; in ODM you choose from our existing 121 models and 24 ready-to-customise platforms and we apply your brand. Most new brands start with ODM because it avoids tooling cost and development time.
Can we put our logo on the housing and the retail box?
Yes. Housing print, platform print and retail-box branding are all handled in-house, along with colour, packaging format and carton configuration. Because standard branding rides on existing tooling, it does not normally carry a mould bill.
Do you provide a pre-production sample before a branded run?
Yes. A branded pre-production sample confirms print, colour, packaging and packing before the bulk run is scheduled. Specification and branding scope are locked in writing at that point.

MOQ, lead time and samples

What is the MOQ?
It depends on the model and on how much branding you need, so we quote the real figure per enquiry rather than publishing a blanket number. Tell us the model and the quantity you have in mind and it comes back with the quotation. Mixed-model orders are accepted and quoted as one combined shipment.
How fast can in-stock models ship?
Confirmed in-stock orders dispatch within 48 hours. Our measured on-time fulfilment is above 98%. Branded runs follow the schedule confirmed before deposit, because branding scope affects the timeline.
Can I buy samples before committing to bulk?
Yes. Samples are available for evaluation and the sample cost is normally credited against your first bulk order. Ask for the specific models you are comparing.

Certification and compliance

Which certifications do you hold?
Our facility is audited by Intertek. Product certification requirements differ by destination market, so we confirm the applicable paperwork for your country when you enquire rather than making a blanket claim. If you need specific documentation for your import file, say so and we will tell you exactly what we can provide.
Can you supply documents for our customs broker?
Yes. Export documentation travels with the shipment and additional paperwork is prepared on request. Tell us the destination country and the broker requirement at enquiry stage so nothing is left to the last minute.

Shipping, packing and payment

What packing formats are available?
Neutral packing is the standard default. Retail boxes, blisters and mailer-ready cartons are configured in-house, and master carton count, pallet pattern and label format can all be set to your requirement.
Do you accept mixed-model orders?
Yes, and they are quoted as one combined shipment rather than separate orders. This is common for importers filling a container across several categories.
What payment terms do you work to?
Payment terms are agreed per order and confirmed in writing with the quotation. If your business has a standard term structure, raise it at enquiry stage so it can be discussed before the specification is locked.
