Inside Our Digital Scale Factory in Dongguan, China
Five assembly lines, 46 production and test devices, 45 people including six engineers — and a building audited by Intertek. Here is what actually happens between your enquiry and your shipment.
One Address, End to End
Weighing, calibration, branding and packing all happen in the same building — which is why a specification change does not turn into a scheduling problem.
- Floor area — 1,500 m² of production, assembly and packing space
- Assembly — five lines covering compact, mid-size and platform formats
- Equipment — 46 production and test devices, including weighing and function test rigs
- People — 45 staff, six of them R&D engineers
- Output rhythm — around 50 new models introduced each year, most as platform variants
We publish floor area to the square metre but not a zone-by-zone breakdown — that is commercially sensitive and irrelevant to a buyer's decision.

Five Lines, Built Around Format Not Fashion

Lines are organised by product format rather than by customer, so a compact pocket-scale run and a platform-scale run do not compete for the same station. That keeps changeover time down and makes mixed-category orders practical.
What the Forty-Six Devices Do
Broadly three jobs: build the unit, verify the unit, and verify it again after packing.
Soldering, housing assembly and platform fitting stations across the five lines.
Reference weights and calibration rigs used to verify readability against the agreed specification.
Power, display, unit switching, tare and hold checks before a unit is released to packing.
Checked Before Packing, Not After Complaint
Housings, load cells and displays are checked against the drawing before they reach a line.
Each unit is weighed and function-tested at the station, not sampled at the end.
Readability is verified against reference weights at the agreed increment.
Display, units, tare, hold and finish confirmed before boxing.
Carton contents, quantity and labelling verified against the packing list.
Six Engineers and a Working Sample Room
Six R&D engineers handle load-cell selection, firmware behaviour and housing changes. When you ask whether a specification can be built, the answer comes from here — either it runs on an existing platform or we tell you what a new one would take.
- Capacity and readability changes on existing platforms
- Unit-set and firmware configuration for your market
- Housing finish and platform material evaluation
- Sample builds before a branded run is scheduled

Configured Here, Shipped Ready

Neutral packing is the default. Retail boxes, blisters, mailer-ready cartons and branded master cartons are configured in the same building. In-stock models dispatch within 48 hours of a confirmed order; branded runs follow the schedule confirmed before deposit.
